Geocache Description:

About SideTracked Caches

This cache belongs to the SideTracked series. It is not designed to take you to a magical place with a breathtaking view. It's a distraction for the weary traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. More information can be found on the SideTracked website.

About Olney Station

Olney was a station on the former Bedford to Northampton railway and the Stratford-Upon-Avon and Midland Junction Railway. It was situated on a busy line between Towcester and Ravenstone Wood junction, which saw heavy use by freight services running between Wales and north-east England. The station closed for passengers in 1962 and was completely closed in 1964, the various connecting routes to the line having closed one by one from the 1950s onwards.

About This Geocache

The geocache is a 3D-printed magnetic micro close to the old station's location. The house built on top of it now has a very suitable name (See waypoint for location)!
