Join the Northern Virginia Geocaching Organization (NoVAGO) for a crash course of learning about the world's largest treasure hunt!
While this "Geocaching 101" class is an introduction to the hobby, it is suitable for all ages, and all levels of experience. New to geocaching? Join us to learn a little bit more than you already know. Geocaching Veteran? Come share your stories and help us out!!! Everyone is welcome!
This event is a joint effort with the Loudoun County Library in Lovettsville on June 7th at 10am. We'd love for you to plan to stay for about an hour for the presentation and conversation, if you have questions, that's what we are here for, ask away. Geocachers are welcome to linger for a bit after the talk and swap caching stories.
Who: You! Adults, Teens, Children with Parents, all are welcome. Whether you are just interested in learning a little about geocaching hobby or have found thousands of geocaches, please drop in!

Where: Lovettsville Library, 12 North Light Street, Lovettsville, VA 20180
Why: To learn about geocaching, trade travel bugs and geocoins and share the fun.
Extra things to keep in mind:

New and Fellow Seasoned Geocachers, if you are attending please log your 'Will Attend' if at all possible. We hope to see you there! You can do this one... so definitely say you will be there.. just click "will attend". Didn't see this before becuase you are super new at geocaching, but heard about this at the Library... don't worry, you can log your "Attended" and get your first event logged once you are set up with your new geocaching name.

Note About Travel Bugs or Trackable Coins:

If you bring these please do not leave them behind. Unless you know someone is "grabbing" it from you, please remember to take it at the end of the event. (Don't know what these are? Don't worry, you will learn)
- If you pick up a Travel Bug or trackable coin at one of the events, make sure you log it out so it doesn't show up in the events list. (BUGS..?? again not exactly sure.. we will tell you, they don't bite)
