Word reached me of a water-based Letterbox Series in the Mid-Atlantic, modeled after our One Piece world. We were all flattered. I, Trafalgar D Water Law, was… intrigued. Attention fades quickly, but strategy—that matters.
The puzzle isn’t simple. I haven’t solved it yet, but I saw the World Government—and their cursed Celestial Dragons—closing in. I wasn’t about to let that happen. I intervened, and placed a cache of my own. Think of it as an introduction to those who bear the Will of D.
If you found the “D” etched on the map, that’s no coincidence. It isn’t just a letter—it’s a reminder. Every cache marked with it reveals something about the ones destined to oppose this world’s corruption.
My cache is hidden in a quiet cove off the main river, marked by a pawpaw tree. You might overlook it at first—most people do. But the pawpaw is no ordinary fruit. Sweet, rare, almost out of place in these waters… it reminds me of the Devil Fruits scattered across the seas.
Both carry power in their own way. A Devil Fruit rewrites a man’s very being, granting him strength at a terrible price. The pawpaw… it doesn’t grant power, but it does offer something just as rare: nourishment that feels almost unnatural in its surroundings. Not cursed, not dangerous, but still—something you won’t forget once you’ve tasted it.
