Bienvenue à Landerneau ! Cette cache virtuelle vous invite à découvrir l'emblème de la ville : le Pont de Rohan.
Édifié en 1510 par Jean II de Rohan, cet ouvrage classé aux Monuments Historiques est une rareté architecturale. Il est en effet l'un des derniers ponts habités d'Europe ! Depuis plus de 500 ans, il défie les marées de l'Elorn et abrite commerces et habitations.
Un peu d'histoire...
Le pont possédait autrefois un moulin, une prison et une chapelle. En le traversant, la présence des maisons intégrées à la rue fait presque oublier que l'on se trouve au-dessus de l'eau.

Welcome to Landerneau ! This virtual cache invites you to discover the emblem of the city : the Pont de Rohan.
Built in 1510 by Jean II de Rohan, this structure, officially classified as a Historic Site, is an architectural rarity. In fact, it is one of the last inhabited bridges in Europe! For over 500 years, it has defied the tides of the Elorn river and continues to house shops and residences.
A bit of history...
The bridge used to feature a mill, a prison, and even a chapel. As you walk across it, the houses lining the street make it easy to forget you are standing over the water.
