Ye Ole Survey Monument (YOSM) is a captivating series of caches that pays homage to the remarkable legacy of OutForTheHunt's YSM series (GC45CC).
YOSM caches are strategically positioned at or near Trig Points. These triangulation stations have played a pivotal role as surveying landmarks, contributing to the mapping of expansive territories.
Some of these points, bearing historical significance, might now be situated on private land or have vanished with time. As a result, the caches are artfully placed in close proximity, reverently acknowledging the historical importance of these survey monuments.

I would ask that you request a number for your cache first at www.yosm.org.uk
so we can keep track of the numbers and names to avoid duplication.
This is a "Reverse Wherigo" cache, there is nothing to find at the published coordinates, apart from the Trig Pillar.
To find this cache you need a Wherigo enabled GPS device or a smartphone that has a compatable App.
If you are an Android user and you use c:geo, it has its own wherigo player that works well with Reverse Caches.

The cartridge for this Wherigo version was developed by -Waldmeister - and has been used in many different caches.
To find this cache, you need to download this Wherigo cartridge, downloaded from here to your device, press PLAY and type in these codes you have received by completing the Jigigi Puzzle into the cartridge.

You will then be the owner of a Reverse-Cache-Box, which will give you coordinates when you have gone in the correct direction and walked the required distance, where you will find the geocache.
