A bölcs nemcsak mesélt, hanem figyelt is.
Másnap reggel a falu népe kíváncsian gyűlt össze a kő körül.

English version:
In a distant village hidden among rolling hills lived an old wise man whose words always carried meaning. People gathered beneath the large linden tree in front of his house every day, listening to his stories, often softened with gentle banter that made even the shyest listeners smile.
The wise man did not only speak—he observed. He knew who needed courage, who needed guidance, and who simply needed to be heard. One evening, as the sun slowly disappeared behind the hills, he carved a sentence onto a smooth stone and placed it beneath the tree, where even skunks sometimes wandered in the quiet night.
By morning, the villagers gathered around the stone. Some understood immediately, others stayed silent, thinking. Then the wise man spoke:
– Whatever you receive in life, you must learn to replace keeping with giving, because this is the quiet law that shapes the earthly world.
His voice was calm, yet it carried far. From that day on, something shifted in the village. People began helping one another more, sharing what they knew, and little by little, they became a community where everyone added something to the lives of others.
