#100 Dzień Podchorążego - 29 listopada
|
Równolegle obchody organizują wszystkie wojskowe akademie, między innymi Wojskowa Akademia Techniczna (Warszawa), Akademia Wojsk Lądowych (Wrocław), Lotnicza Akademia Wojskowa (Dęblin) i Akademia Marynarki Wojennej (Gdynia). Dzięki zachowaniu tych elementów kolejne roczniki przyszłych oficerów poznają historię swojego środowiska, uczestniczą w wojskowym ceremoniale i przejmują tradycje poprzednich pokoleń.

#100 Cadet's Day - 29 November
|
Cadets’ Day is a military holiday celebrated annually on 29 November to commemorate the events of 1830, when cadets from the Infantry Cadet School in Warsaw, under the command of Piotr Wysocki, launched an attack on the Belvedere Palace. This action marked the beginning of the November Uprising and permanently linked the date of 29 November with the tradition of training future officers of the Polish Army.
The anniversary of the November Night was first commemorated in 1908 at the clandestine Officer Cadet School in Lviv. After Poland regained its independence, the commemoration was permanently incorporated into the military calendar and has been observed by successive generations of cadets since 1918. Despite changes in the political system, it has retained its historical character and continues to serve as a reminder of the origins of officer service.
The main celebrations take place in Warsaw in front of the Belvedere Palace, where a ceremonial parade is held, recalling the events of 1830. At the same time, celebrations are organised by all military academies, including the Military University of Technology (Warsaw), the Land Forces Academy (Wrocław), the Air Force Academy (Dęblin) and the Naval Academy (Gdynia). The programme includes ceremonial assemblies, the promotion of distinguished cadets, award ceremonies, re-enactments of the ‘November Night’, and balls, in which the current cadets attend wearing historical military uniforms from 1830. By preserving these elements, successive cohorts of future officers learn about the history of their institution and participate
