Quzhou West Railway Station, also known as Quzhouxi Station, is a modern high-speed railway hub located in Quzhou Smart New City, Kecheng District. It officially opened on December 26, 2025, as the main station of the Hangzhou–Quzhou High-Speed Railway.
The station’s distinctive curved roof was inspired by the flowing waters of the Qujiang River, while its futuristic appearance reflects the modern development of Quzhou. The complex includes railway platforms, bus connections, taxi areas, underground parking, shops and tourism services.
The new high-speed railway greatly improves connections between Quzhou and other cities. The fastest journey to Hangzhou West takes about 73 minutes, and passengers can also travel more conveniently toward Shanghai, Huangshan, Jiujiang, Jingdezhen and other destinations.
Quzhou West Station is more than a railway station. It is an important part of the city’s westward expansion and is expected to support new residential, commercial and tourism development around the surrounding high-speed rail district.
