Pocomoke River State Park-Shad Landing
on
Saturday, October 3
9:00 am to 10:30 am
Come join the Maryland Geocaching Society at the Shad Landing area of the Pocomoke River State Park to clean up areas of the park and do some trail maintenance in the park.
This is an excellent opportunity to give back to Pocomoke River State Park who has been so accommodating to MGS.
The schedule 9:00am–10:30am: CITO and trail maintenance. Park staff will direct us to the trails needing maintenance and clean up after meeting at the posted coordinates.
Parking
Parking is available at the posted coordinates, which is the Day Use/Boat Ramp Parking Lot. There is no fee to enter the park.
What to bring
We/park will supply trash bags.
You may wish to consider bringing items such as gardening gloves, waterproof shoes (or old sturdy sneakers or knee boots), handi-grabbers, bug/tick spray, and drinking water. Dress for the outdoors, of course. There are restroom options nearby.
