Anlässlich des EarthCache-Days möchte ich gerne die Ötscher-Tropfsteinhöhle mit dem dazugehörigen Earthcache von SturmGrazAndl besuchen. Dieser ist nur in der Höhle zu lösen.
Um andere Cacher*innen zur Begleitung zu finden, lade ich zu einem Event vor dem Eingang ein. Dabei können wir uns über unsere Erfahrungen mit Earthcaches unterhalten und TBs tauschen. Für den Besuch des Events fallen keine Kosten an.
Ich werde um 12.45 Uhr beim angegebenen Parkplatz sein und gerne gemeinsam mit euch gemütlich zur Event-Location wandern. Die Gehzeit ist mit 45 bis 60 Minuten angegeben, wir nehmen uns 75 Minuten Zeit. Bitte Wanderschuhe oder gute Trekkingschuhe anziehen.
Wenn du mit in die Höhle gehen möchtest, nimm dir warme Kleidung mit, da es recht kühl drinnen ist und die Führung ca. 45 bis 60 Minuten dauert. Der Eintritt ist für Inhaber*innen der Niederösterreich-Card und der Wilde Wunder Card einmalig frei! Alle anderen zahlen 10 Euro, Kinder von 6 bis 15 Jahren 8 Euro (Stand August 2026).
Es wäre hilfreich, wenn du dich bis 8. Oktober anmeldest und dabei angibst, ob du die Führung mitmachen möchtest.
To celebrate EarthCache Day I'd like to visit the Ötscher Stalactite Cave and complete the EarthCache created by SturmGrazAndl. This EarthCache can only be solved inside the cave.
To find other cachers to join me I’m hosting an event at the entrance. There we can chat about our experiences with EarthCaches and swap travel bugs. There’s no cost to attend the event.
I’ll be at the designated parking lot at 12:45 p.m. and would love to take a leisurely hike with you to the event location. The walking time is listed as 45 to 60 minutes, but we’ll allow 75 minutes. Please wear hiking boots or sturdy hiking shoes.
If you’d like to go inside the cave be sure to bring warm clothes, as it’s quite cool inside and the guided tour lasts about 45 to 60 minutes. Admission is free once for holders of the Niederösterreich-Card and the Wilde Wunder Card. Everyone else pays 10 euros; children ages 6 to 15 pay 8 euros (as of August 2026).
