⚓🛶 MAN YOUR BATTLE STATIONS! 💥
ALL HANDS ON DECK!
NeonCowboy is calling together the Texoma fleet for a shoreside gathering of geocachers before anybody gets themselves into some questionable maritime shenanigans.
The official mission?
Meet fellow geocachers, swap stories, discover some trackables, talk about water caching, compare TOTTs, and determine exactly how much ridiculous equipment a geocacher can strap to a kayak before it technically becomes a battleship.
The event itself will take place ON DRY LAND, and you do NOT need a kayak or any special equipment to attend.
⚓ NAVAL SUPPLY CHECK
Now, purely in the interest of discussing proper Texoma maritime preparedness, some equipment that might come in handy during a day of water caching includes:
🛶 Kayaks — our fleet ain't exactly Navy funded.
🧲 Magnets — because sometimes what you're looking for ain't floating.
🪢 Rope — preferably attached to the magnet before you throw it.
💥 Cannons — water cannons, squirt guns, or a really good imagination. Leave the actual artillery at home.
🦺 PFDs — because sinking the kayak wasn't part of the battle plan.
🧰 TOTTs — when has a geocacher ever brought too many?
🛶 AFTER THE EVENT
When the posted event time ends, the event is over.
Anyone who independently chooses to launch a kayak, paddle around, go geocaching, go fishing, test a magnet, hunt for buried treasure, or declare war on another kayak is doing so on their own and not as part of this event.
Participation in anything afterward is completely optional.
🤠 NEONCOWBOY'S STANDING ORDERS
Show up.
Visit with some fellow geocachers.
Tell a few stories.
Compare questionable TOTTs.
Take a group picture.
And remember the first rule of the Texoma Navy:
If you're gonna throw the magnet overboard, make dang sure somebody tied the rope to it first.
⚓🛶🧲🪢💥
NeonCowboy's Texoma Fleet
We ain't sunk... we're just temporarily experiencing negative buoyancy.
Meet at the posted coordinates from 1 PM to 2 PM on Sunday September 13, 2026, and let's talk about some kayaks!
