One Day. Many Communities. A World of Difference.A little over 2 years ago georeyna a geocacher in Houston, TX asked a simple question - What could happen if geocachers around Texas came together on one day to make their communities cleaner? Based on that simple question, Texas Geocaching Association (TXGA) created an event named CITO Across Texas in conjunction with World Cleanup Day.Geocachers throughout Texas held cleanup events on the third Saturday inSeptember. Each event is locally organized, but together they became part of something much bigger. CITO Across Texas was born!
Und jetzt auch WELTWEIT!
Our event is part of CITO Across the World, a worldwide effort bringing together nearly 200 CITO events in communities around the globe—all on the same day.
What started in Texas in 2024 has grown into a global day of geocachers coming together to clean up, give back, and make an impact.
