Location Information
North Dandalup Station
North Dandalup became a railway stopping place in the 1890s with the development of the South Western Railway, helping connect the small settlement with Perth, Pinjarra and Bunbury. The station later played an important role in the district's timber industry, with Whittaker Bros using a private railway and tramway to transport timber from its mill in the nearby Darling Range to yards beside the station. Today, North Dandalup remains a stop on the Australind, with the station receiving a major accessibility upgrade in 2019-20.
Access Information
Catch the Australind to this cache. Alternatively, the cache is 2WD accessible from Railway Avenue. Caravans and towing vehicles can access the turning loop.
