🎶 On the first day of Cachemas, my geo-friends gave to me… a CACHE under the tree! 🎶
Welcome to Day 1 of the 12 Days of Cachemas – Texoma 2026! 🎄
We're kicking off 12 Days of Christmas geocaching fun with a good old-fashioned meet & greet and an optional White Elephant Cache Exchange!
Come hang out with fellow geocachers, swap stories, talk about recent finds and hides, discover some trackables, and help us officially kick off Cachemas.
🎁 WHITE ELEPHANT CACHE EXCHANGE
Want to play? Bring one wrapped geocache container to put under our Cachemas tree.
The container should be unused and something that could actually be hidden as a geocache. It can be simple, creative, homemade, sneaky, funny, gadgety, or downright redneck.
No set dollar amount. This is about having fun and seeing what kind of cache everyone comes up with—not who spends the most money.
We'll draw numbers to determine the order.
When it's your turn, you can:
🎁 Pick and unwrap a new cache
OR
😈 Steal an already-opened cache from another cacher!
We'll use a two-steal limit per cache to keep things moving.
Participation in the White Elephant exchange is completely optional. You do not need to bring a cache to attend the event.
🤠 THE CACHEMAS CHALLENGE
If you go home with a cache from the exchange, you're encouraged—but definitely not required—to hide it sometime during 2027.
Wouldn't it be fun to see some of tonight's Cachemas presents turn into new hides around Texoma next year?
Bring along any Travel Bugs, geocoins, or other trackables you'd like everyone to discover or move along.
Whether you're planning to make all 12 Days of Cachemas or just joining us tonight, everybody is welcome.
Tonight is only the beginning...
