Come hang out with fellow geocachers for a relaxed get-together at the pavilion at the Wellborn Community Center!
There’s no big agenda for this one—just a chance to get together, visit, and enjoy all the usual geocaching event fun! Bring your caching stories, trail tales, recent adventures, trackables to discover or trade, and anything else you’d like to share with the group.
Whether you've been caching for years or you're brand new to the game, you're welcome to join us!
🎨 Optional Activity: Tie-Dye a Geocaching Shirt!
We’ll also have an optional tie-dye activity for anyone who wants to participate!
👕 Please bring your own plain white T-shirt to tie-dye!
White or another very light-colored shirt will work best. I’ll provide the tie-dye supplies!
Once we finish dyeing the shirts, I’ll take them home with me to wash and prepare them. After they're washed and ready, I'll iron on the geocaching design shown above.
The finished shirts will be returned to everyone afterward at another event, so you'll end up with your own one-of-a-kind geocaching tie-dye shirt!
Participation in the tie-dye activity is completely optional. You're more than welcome to come just to hang out!
✂️ Bring Your Crafts, Too!
Have another craft or project you've been working on? Feel free to bring it along!
You can paint rocks, work on cache containers, make swag, crochet, draw, or bring whatever else sounds fun. The idea is simply to spend some time together, swap stories, make something if you want to, and enjoy the company of other geocachers.
📦 Trackables & Trail Tales
Of course, it wouldn't be a geocaching event without some geocaching! Bring along any Travel Bugs, geocoins, or other trackables you'd like others to discover or that you're ready to send along on their next adventure.
And don't forget those trail tales! Found something crazy lately? Had an interesting DNF? Taken a caching road trip? Finally found that cache that's been driving you crazy? We want to hear about it!
What Should I Bring?
- 👕 A plain/light-colored T-shirt if you want to tie-dye
- 📦 Trackables you'd like to trade or have discovered
- 🎨 Any crafts or projects you'd like to work on
- 🗺️ Your favorite geocaching stories and trail tales
- 🙂 Most Importantly....Yourself! (and maybe a friend)
