It’s that time of year again: Daylight Saving Time is coming to an end, and we’re getting back the hour we lost in the spring.
Naturally, there’s only one reasonable thing to do with it: have a geocaching event!
Come watch the clocks turn back, work on a puzzle or two, have a snack, and hang out with your fellow cachers who are crazy enough to be awake at this hour.
Fun(?) Fact: Daylight Saving Time ends on the earliest possible date this year — November 1.
The dates of the twice-yearly time changes were established by the Energy Policy Act of 2005, which expanded the length of Daylight Saving Time. Previously, DST ran from the first Sunday in April through the last Sunday in October. Beginning in 2007, it was extended from the second Sunday in March through the first Sunday in November.
Everyone is welcome, and no purchase is necessary.
