Last week I held an even in College Park, MD to celebrate completing my 365 day streak. Afterward, we found a froyo place next to the brewery so it ties well with this event. It was too far away for people I know up north to attend so I decided to do it again. Instead of dinner & beer, this time I'm going for an ice cream approach. I've been here before, but it's been a while, and they had good ice cream so it should be fun. The event will end at 8pm but they're open later so let share a story and not so much our ice cream.

When I came here the last time with my children, I told them the story about the first time I'd been to this building. In those days there was a bowling alley and a beauty shop here. My grandfather owned the beauty shop and apparently I came here somewhat frequently as a child. I'm not sure how I would have enjoyed that other than I have heard that my grandfather handed out sweets.
