Le menhir de la Grosse Pierre, aussi appelé menhir du Colombier, se dresse sur la commune de Bidon, en Ardèche. Datant de la période comprise entre 2600 et 1800 avant J.-C., ce mégalithe atteint environ 3,50 mètres de hauteur. Il fait partie des rares menhirs recensés dans le département et a même été christianisé par l’ajout d’une croix de Saint-André.

The Grosse Pierre Menhir, also known as the Colombier Menhir, stands in the commune of Bidon, in the Ardèche region of France. Dating back to between 2600 and 1800 BC, this megalith stands approximately 3.5 metres tall. It is one of the few recorded menhirs in the department and was even Christianised by the addition of a Saint Andrew’s cross.
