Geocache Description:

This site is just off the scenic highway also known as Outlaw Trail. The land is flat with easy access.

This cache is one of a string from the southern to the northern borders of Nebraska and Iowa along the Lewis and Clark trail. This cache was placed with permission of the land owner and local help on the cache placement and lid contents. It is an ammo can that is marked. Just getting to this cache is great. The scenery of this section of Nebraska is absolutely beautiful with its varying hills and rivers. Lewis and Clark worked very hard in this area to capture a prairie dog to send to Thomas Jefferson. After finding this cache, go into downtown Lynch and see the carved prairie dog. There is also a very realistic train painted on the side of the theater in town that is eye catching. The tourist center is in the gas station.
This cache is being cared for by The Jolly 17 4-H Club.

Update 6-18-2013:  Original cache owner, The Three Amigos, can no longer care for the cache.  Ownership was transferred to GeoJudt to keep it going for years to come.
