Geocache Description:


Driving along Jefferson Boulevard on L A’s Westside you’ve probably noticed the letters L M U on the side of the bluffs. Ever been to this beautifully situated campus?

Well, that’s where we placed a micro cache. While looking for it, walk along the bluffs and enjoy the city views. On a clear day you can see the mountains, too.

Looking down, you will also see construction in progress on one of the largest and densest developments in the history of L A City, taking the last open spaces on the Westside. It used to be Wetlands and the old Hughes Airport and Aircraft Plant (later known as Hughes Helicopter Co.) and for years there still was hope it wouldn’t all be lost to the developers, but… in the end it was.

Enter the campus via LMU Drive (off Lincoln Boulevard) and park at N33°58.380 W118°24.875. This gets you close to the cache.

The small cache contains a log (bring your own pen) and a variety of pins. We’d like you to ‘stick’ with the theme! Take a pin, leave a pin (small pins only) and please re-hide the cache exactly as you found it.
