Geocache Description:

This is a simple cache to honor an early Spanish explorer. The cache is another altoids tin with a magnet, placed 40 feet from a historical marker.

Just think... about 227 years ago, Juan Bautista de Anza was in this very spot... wishing he had a GPSr to help him along his way.

Now, you are on the expedition lead by Juan. During one of his water hole breaks, you decide to wonder around. In one of the oddest locations, you find an altoids tin and wonder... ''What's an altoid? And why would anyone put one in their mouth??''

When stashed - 227 years ago - this cache contained:
GeoNote
Log Book
Pencil
Play Ear Rings
Play Bracelets
Real Slide Rule w/instructions
Trading Pin
Compass
Bumper Stickers

Remember, this road can be rather busy during the commute hours. Regardless of when you hunt this, stay off the road! And ignore any traffic that passes or they'll stop to help you.

Also, No one is allowed to replace the cache. If it turns up missing, I'll verify the loss and contact all DNF's that resulted from the loss.
