Geocache Description:

"Diverso tempore, diverse fata" is latin and means "Different times, different fates". This proverb is written on the monument over the dansih military commander Daniel Rantzau. A bullet fired by a sniper on the Varberg Fortress ended his career November 11:th 1569.

At this place you have a good view over the impressive Varberg Fortress and over the Kattegat. This must also be the last view alive for Daniel Rantzau. On the coastline down left you have 2 nude baths for women and one for men, just a few minutes from the city center. It´s very popular when going home after work (summertime) to have a quick salt spontaniously refreshing bath whenever you like, without any planing with swimming-trunks or bathing suit. Take a quick bath, sit down on the cliffs five minutes to dry up, dress and go home to the family, fresh and sound. We don´t think Daniel Rantzau ever reflected of bathing, and especially not in November. Containe from the beginning: Logbook, pen and "Rädda Barnen"-pin. If you use the hint you would also need the spoiler.
