Geocache Description:

Cache je skryta v blizkosti vychodni hradby hradu Veveri
Cache is hidden near to east wall of the Veveri castle

Earliest references to Squirrel Castle date back to the turn of the first millennium, when the duke Kunrad founded a hunting lodge in the area.. The first recorded data is from the years 1213 and 1222, when Prince Premysl Otakar II. used the fortified castle as a prison for rebellious peers. (More info - www.veveri.cz/english/historie.htm)
