Geocache Description:

Where: Ruby Tuesday's - Upstairs
Date: Thursday February 23rd
When: 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm.

This event is a chance for the Northern New Jersery geocaching community to get together in the wake of the recent tragic passing of Helmut Mueller, our first President. I would like this to be a celebration of his life rather than a dour gathering.

Helmut was one of Northern New Jersey's earliest cachers and hosted a couple of geocaching events himself. He was often seen hot on the trail of a cache with either just Autumn or his lovely daughters in tow.

The coordinates take you right outside the mall entrance to Ruby Tuesday's --- the same spot as where we formed our group last year. We have the upstairs reserved. Please feel free to bring travel bugs to trade (if you log it into the cache page, remember to keep track of where it went), geocoins and geocaching stories.

I think Helmut enjoyed the informal gatherings at these sort of events. They are low stress and a chance to keep up with friends who share common values and play the silly game of hiding and finding hidden boxes in the woods.
