Geocache Description:

You will find this cache hidden in an area where you can get a great view of sunsets over the canyon.
It is not a very long hike...more like a short scramble up the hill and you are there.

I pilfered this container from Blucruz's "Cache of Caches" and decided to put it out as a tribute to our fallen heroes yrs ago today. Let us not forget those who selflessly gave their lives to save others on the tragic date of 09/11/2001

We made up a special FTF certificate to place in the container and have also added a few other goodies. Please try to keep this as camo'd as possible. You will be looking for a signature Blucruz camo'd plastic mayo jar.

Parking is located just across the highway and there is plenty of room. I will not recommend this cache for children, as you'll need to dart across the road to reach the access point. Traffic was not heavy at all when we were here and you can see far enough in both directions to stay safe when crossing. Please use caution just the same. Once you get over the road, simply find a low point to start your ascent and scramble up the hill. I actually made it up and back in less than 10 minutes, and that included placing the container and taking marks.
