Geocache Description:

This micro cache is hidden within Crescenta Valley park.  Due to the high concentration of poison oak throughout the hillsides, we decided to place this micro cache smack dab in the middle of where everyone is.  Whether it be people jogging, kids playing tag, people walking their dogs, or families just enjoying a nice picnic, you'll be among them all looking for this cache.  The beauty of it is that they won't have a clue what you are doing and they won't ever be able to see this micro cache even if they come back over and look around the area you were.  Why?  Because they don't have the essential items needed that every true GeoCacher carries in their GeoBag.   I'm not going to say what items specifically are needed for this micro cache because it may give away too much.

Here is what we carry in our GeoCaching bag whenever we go out.  Let me know if you think I'm missing something.

Tissues/toilet paper
Plastic Bag for trash
Zip lock bag to help a cache in need
Flashlight
First Aid Kit
Water
Magnifying Glass
Tweezers
Spare log book
Pens and a marker
Paper clips
Sun block
Spare batteries for camera, cell phone, and the GPS
8 inch straight piece of a metal coat hanger with hook on the end
Bug repellent spray
Ankle brace

Now you might not carry all of these things, but you have to carry at least the things needed for seeing and retrieval of micro caches.  Never know where those things can be hiding.  Also I live very close to this cache and I insist that you all sign the logbook.  The log book is short so I'll be replacing it often.  People logged on the site but not in the log book will be considered people that didn't have the proper items to retrieve the cache and will have their "Find" deleted from this page.  Not trying to be difficult, just trying to get all of you to follow the simple rule of retrieving the cache entirely in order to claim it as a "Find."

Also due to this cache being so small, there is only a log, please do not leave any items in cache container.  This is strictly a find and sign the log type of micro cache.  Make sure to bring a pen or pencil too!
