Good old cache at the end of Emma Wood campground between the RR
tracks and the sea.
Flat paved road, nice walk along the coast if you came in from the
Emma Wood campground, entry on Pacific Coast Hwy. If you park at
the end of Main St. and enter at the Emma Wood Group Campground you
will have to cross the RR Tracks at some point and need to be very
careful as the trains come fast and silent. Cache is a loc n loc
container painted to blend in. It is near the last turn around
circle. Hope you all enjoy this one. We saw a seal, dolphins,
pelicans, seagulls, sand pipers, parachute surfers and sailboats.
If you go at low tide you can take in the near-by tide pools. Don't
forget your kite! May be approached by walking thru Emma Wood State
Beach Campground Hwy 101 North off at State Beaches exit, park
along the road outside of the campground for free, at N34 17.784
W119 20.514 YOU MUST STAY OFF THE RR TRACKS. THE TRAINS COME FAST
AND SILENT
