This good old fashioned, two stage ( vintage ?) cache is located in both The Rock Lot and Scott Preserves in Redding CT., thus its title. Parking is found at 41 17.177 / 73 25.840 ..only room for a small car, best to park large vehicles on mine hill road, near by.
At this writing, there are no other caches in this area, just one letterbox “Scull O Scott” , Lbna 27435. Check:http://www.letterboxing.org/BoxView.php?boxnum=27435&boxname=skull_O_Scott A very nice 3 stage cache by jonboy : MAGUA…was located here, GCZXBG, however, needed to be archived due to repeated maintenance runs to repair / reset film cans! This is now no longer the case. Posted coords are for an info only tag, found attached to a man made object approx. 2 feet long. Tag found is stamped: N.xxx W.xxx In place of x’s are letters and the value of the letters are: K=4 L=4 M=3 Q=7 R=6 S=3 Final cache location is: 41 16.xxx 73 25.xxx You figure out the rest. In case of poor satellite reception, the info station local can be found 22 paces and 162 degs mag…from birdhouse, referenced by letterbox info… [ I had 5 meter accy ] the letterbox, if interested is 140 magnetic from bird house and no brown bottle.
