Geocache Description:

On the majestic Hudson River lays the historic village of Cold Spring. Only 50 miles north of New York City (a little more than an hour by automobile or Metro North railroad), Cold Spring is a charming town filled with plenty to see and do.

While visiting the village, you’re sure you enjoy Main Streets historic 19th century architecture. Make time to dine at some of Cold Springs delicious fine and casual eateries. Antique, collectible, and specialty shopping abound. And for the adventurous, kayaking and hiking are a must.

This cache is located in the lower village of Cold Spring. I selected the spot to provide visitors with one of the towns best views.

The container does include a log and a pencil. There is typically only room for smaller items.

During summer months often the location draws many muggles. Stealth may be required.

When replacing container, please keep it somewhat in sight.
