We will meet at the parking lot of Pal Joey's and and clean the trail and creek. This CITO event (sponsored by Des Moines Parks and Recreation) will be from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Trash bags will be provided. You should wear gloves and boots as we will be cleaning both the trail and the creek. Be ready to get dirty! You may want to bring waders or wear old clothes.
Keep a sharp eye out because there will be Easter eggs hidden. If you find one, bring it back with you to the start to collect a sweet prize.
Also, bring any forms if you or your kids are in need of service hours. I will be more than happy to sign them during the event.
