Geocache Description:

Cache is located in Pitzer's Chapel Cemetery. This small cemetery sits on a small knoll, in the middle of some of Berkeley County's largest apple orchards. This cemetery marks a memorial to Pitzer's Chapel Methodist Church, build in 1881.

Did you know that Berkeley County is the largest apple-producing county in the state of West Virginia. The apple agriculture has been vital to the Eastern Panhandle. To get to this cache you will see thousands of apple trees in neat rows lining both sides of the road. In fact this small cemetery is surrounded by apple trees.

From Martinsburg, take I-81 Exit 13 (W.King St.). Turn onto Tuscarora Pike, headed west (1.5 miles). Left onto Arden-Nollville Rd. (2.0 miles) and then follow your GPSr.

As with any cemetery cache please be respectful of the location. Visit this cache during daylight hours only!!
