Welcome to the ACM. Automated Cache Machine. This abandoned RR bed stretches 5 miles from Chester to Washingtonville. Along it's line you will be introduced to many different terrain types and scenes of natural beauty. We placed these caches to highlight the opportunities a straight level line 30 yards wide has to offer. No two caches are exactly the same. All the hiding spots are diverse and offer a picture of our little corner of Orange County.
There is parking at either end and it is an easy walk. If you are low on finds hit the ACM.
This was our second hide for the day and as we approached GZ Ellie said it looked medieval. The high track surrounded by murky water on both sides made us feel safe and trapped at the same time.
