Geocache Description:

First cache placed in my village's area. The most important monument of the village is this old, beautiful church, protected by UNESCO, so take the opportunity to visit it, preferably in the morning or call the numbers you'll find on the doors.
Along with the church of Agia Paraskevi in Yeroskipou are the only five-domed churches of Cyprus.

The Church of the Ayios Varnavas and Ilarionas is built on the west bank of the tributary Serrahi, of Peristerona the village, which lies in the valley of the township in Nicosia.
