Geocache Description:

Easy five minute hike to cache location but then things get a bit more difficult. Located in a slice of Sligo Creek Park between two neighborhoods. The trick to finding this cache is certainly not physical stamina or endurance but rather logic, reasoning, and observation. This cache is VERY well hidden. Good luck and be careful!

The cache container is an army surplus decon box. Closest parking is at 39° 02.420 N. 077° 01.924 W.

Approximately 100' from the cache site at a bearing of 48° there are the remains of an old building or structure of some sort. Take a look around and speculate on what it may have been.


ATTENTION RADIO ENTHUSIASTS: There are a total of five caches in this area. For a bit of extra fun try tuning your FRS radio to channel 3 (no PL), or on 2-meter simplex to 147.45 Mhz. This may allow you to chat with other geocachers in the area. Have fun and please mention any radio contacts in your log entry.
