This cache is located in Sherwood Island State Park and is an easy 2-part multi. No real bushwhacking and both parts are bike friendly. You will get to see some varied coastal habitat. The park is 234 acres of beach, uplands, and salt marshes. Named for Sherwood Forest of Robin Hood lore, this public place offers facilities for swimming, picnicking, biking, and birding. From October 1 to April 14, pets on a leash are permitted. Pets are not permitted in the park during the summer season from April 15 through September 30. More information can be found at (visit link) NEW -- since last year anyone entering with Connecticut license plates gets in free ---- Out of state may enter free after 6:30 PM any time. The park does close at sun down and entering after 6:30 PM does leave ample time to find both parts. A FTF prize is available.
