Geocache Description:

A paddle-to micro cache located along the Croton River Marshlands.

I've come to realize there are many remants of Old Route 9 still present behind overgrowth and new age development. Although I'm not 100% certain, I believe this structure used to be an old bridge that crossed the Croton River, most likely for what was Old Route 9 back in the day. While inspecting the ruins and using my imagination I found a great place for a cache too .
