Geocache Description:

Twechar is a small former mining village in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. It lies between the larger towns of Kirkintilloch and Kilsyth.

This is the second of 2 caches located in the Shirva Glen woodland walk beside the Board Burn that feeds the River Kelvin.


 

Access can be gained by parking at The Twechar Healthy Living and Enterprise Centre (postcode G65 9TA or use parking waypoint co-ordinates) and walking through the park or alternatively approaching via The Forth and Clyde Canal Towpath passing through a small aqueduct known as Shirva Pend

Area is popular with dog walkers to be careful when searching !
