Geocache Description:

A few miles upstream of Oxford, the Thames (or Isis) is a gentle meandering river generally well-contained within its banks. A couple of miles south of the city, everything looks the same and the river continues towards the sea as though nothing had happened. In between it becomes unbraided and splits into numerous secondary 'riverlets, many of which are called Streams, hence the title for this series

Potts Stream doesn't appear with this name on maps but does seem to be commonly known amongst locals and fishermen.

This location - where it joins the Thames - is a place I know well from frequent work trips to a nearby conference facility.

The cache is placed almost over the water, but the main risk here is from maniac cyclists and joggers!!

Information concerning the memorial close by is available on the website above

The cache is a magnetic film canister
