Bec: I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news this morning, but Grondspeak has received an email and we have been asked to archive your cache listing.
"A geocache has been placed in our Village without permission of the landowner. Cache GC2E8T5 was placed at the foot of our Village welcome sign and, while I encourage people to visit, this sign is on the Dane County Department of Transportation right-of-way. I have contacted the County and they have not given permission for this cache to be placed. I had to describe to them what geocaching is, and they said that they would not approve placing anything along side the roadway that would encourage people to get out of their vehicles."
Unfortunate news. Please remove your container at your earliest convenience.
