Geocache Description:

WWFM X – The Townsville Cache Jedi!

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away

So what is a WWFM: It's an acronym for "World Wide Flash Mob.",which is a series of simultaneous caching events across the planet. All across the world, Geocahers will appear out of now where for 15 minutes of silliness, then disappear back into the muggle masses

This year will be the 10th running of the event, and it has been decided that it will be on the 4th of May 2013 at 10:00 am.

So what is significant about the 4th of May ?



4th of May is also the International Star Wars Day.....

Can you feel the force? Can you guess where this is going?

LOCATION
Outside the Secret Rebel Base in Dan Gleeson's Memorial Gardens.
TIME
10am Queensland Time (trying to co-ord with U.S.A would mean 3 am on Sunday
COSTUMES
Star Wars Themed! (Not compulsory but you might look out of place strangely!) Light Sabers may be necessary if you hope to get to the Log Book (signing the log book is optional).
Parking
Plenty of street parking and the Kirwan Council



How the event will work,
  • Use the clock on your GPSr to time your attendance and activities at the event.
  • Before 10am: Hover nearby but do not approach GZ.
  • At 9:59am: We will place the Log Book down.
  • Between 10:00am and 10:10am:Approach GZ and sign the log book (signing the log book is optional), however, you may need to fight your way to the log book (signing the log book is optional). Remember to bring your Light Sabre
  • 10:12m: Group Photo
  • 10:15am: Disperse or hang around for a chat while the kids beat each other silly with pool noodles.
