NY/NJ HQ Traditional Cache

BriGuyNY: Been meaning to remove/archive this one for a while. The headquarters moved down the road and the location is now more like a dumping ground... not exactly the place I'd envisioned bringing people to, and not a good representation of my hiding style. Liz and I removed the container today. Thanks to everyone who visited and enjoyed it!

Geocache Description:

My first cache hide in New Jersey! This means NJ now joins the ranks of NY & VT in my books, woohoo!

What you are looking for is a simple cache at a secluded fishing hole in northern New Jersey, located near the perfect destination for anyone even remotely interested in the outdoors.

Wait, I know what you're saying, "A secluded fishing hole exists in northern New Jersey? C'mon, BriGuy! Go back to New York and get real!"

No, really, come see it for yourself, it's a very peaceful, friendly place. And for those of you who don't know, this is what I call a classic BriGuy cache... short and sweet in a secluded area off the main drag with peaceful scenery to enjoy at your leisure. Can't beat that.

As for the location, you are behind the New York - New Jersey Trail Conference Headquarters. They maintain over 1,700 miles of trails and parks in this area, "connecting people with nature since 1920". I visited this facility only for a trail map after work, and decided this would be a great place for a cache as well.

Thanks to LabRat for initially showing me this location and my prospective Bear Mountain / Harriman companion who requested the map in the first place .
