Geocache Description:

The next set of caches along the South County Trail. Trying to continue on with H2"O"s great work on the North County Trail. A nice walk on the paved trail from the parking location. Bring your own pen.

The South County Trailway is a 14.1-mile (22.7 km) long trail stretching from Van Cortlandt Park in The Bronx to Elmsford in Westchester, NY. Construction started in the 1990s and was completed in 2011. Most sections of the trailway are paved. This was once the part of the New York Central Railroad system.

Poison Ivy is very common along this trail, but I did my best to avoid it.

The cache is a camoed micro container. The cache is located within arm's reach of the path.
The cache is located at a replacement footbridge added to the trail as part of the trail developement. Until very recently, the view from here was of an abandoned industrial building. Fairly quickly this area turned around, and the building was partially demoed and reconstructed. While not the most visually stimulating part of the trail, it is much better then it used to be.

Parking is available at the posted coordinates.
I do not recommend parking at the Sports Club. They actively ticket and tow. I witnessed ticketing during placement of the cache.
