Geocache Description:

Been thinking about this one for years. Inspired by "Dune", the first cache on Cape Cod, and my all-time favorite.

Deacon Braley Jenkins was an original harvester of Sandy Neck cranberries. The cache is hidden along Braley's Dune Trail. This trail runs close to some high dunes now known as The Dromedary, purported to be the second highest on the Cape. I suspect this feature once bore the Deacon's name.

Numerous small bogs can be found along the trail. It is permissible to snack upon the berries, and we took full advantage. Let's just say that you will burn a few calories hunting this cache, unless you are the type that prefers to burn petroleum fuels.

There are several ways to approach the cache. Please be sure to stay on trails until the last 30 feet. Seasonal trail closures to protect nesting shore birds may limit access to the cache site.
