Geocache Description:

Also known as 'Nice roof'. The third of the UCLA Sanctuary series.

UCLA has many secluded areas where you can sit and relax, but at various time through the day and through the week most of them have characteristics that would make any attempts at mediation futile. This particular sanctuary is gets the hussel and bussel of students during the weekday, but on the weekend is a nice place to sit and enjoy the weather.

I _strongly_ recommend doing this one on the weekend... there are way to many people during the week. As with most sanctuaries, reception is non existent. The way point leads you to the outside of the building. Go to the NW to find the sanctuary. You do not have to go inside buildings. You should see an entrance to the sanctuary from the way point location.

To find the cache, 'take' a seat next to the drinking fountain (I don't recommend drinking from it... I think its broken anyways). You will really have to get down to see this one. It is a altoid strip tin.

Bring a pen! There is only a log sheet in the cache!

Parking is messed up. $7 to park at UCLA... or 8 minutes per quarter for most of the meters around campus. Some fellow cachers recommended parking at the Ralphs/BestBuy/DrugStore on Le Conte... and on your way back, stop in to one of them, buy something small, and get your parking validated. This parking lot is very close to Sanctuary #1, so its a good place to park.

You can get campus maps here: http://www.ucla.edu/map/

Since parking is such a pain... if you want to get all the caches on campus, and want to absolutly make sure you find them all, send me a line, I can help you out in a few different ways (I can email hints, I'm on campus all the time, and I can probably get you a parking pass for the weekend)
