Vi hittade vår första geocache år 2002 så i år firar vi 10-årsjubileum som geocachare ! Vi har fått se och vara med om mycket spännande under dessa år. Vi har hittat över 15000 cachar och letat burk i 26 länder på 4 kontinenter.
För att fira vårt jubileum har vi lagt ut en serie med 10 cachar + en bonuscache. Vi har valt platser som vi själva gärna skulle ha besökt för att få nöjet att logga en found. Som ni kommer att se är det inga ”drive-in”-cachar precis. Och dom är inte gömda i skyltar eller rör heller. . . . . .
Vi gjorde en resa till Indien, Nepal och Kina. Detta är rejält geocache-glesa länder. Mellan Delhi i Indien och Peking i Kina fanns det två cachar vid tiden för vårt besök (och dom hittade vi). Det är på en sträcka av 400 mil. Vi fick iallafall cacha i tre nya länder och en fantastisk upplevelse. I Xian i Kina finns cachen GC2A1K4, Terracotta warriors. Bilden ovan visar några av de berömda soldaterna där. Vilket år var vi där ? Sista siffran i årtalet = C.

We found our first geocache in 2002 so this year we celebrate our 10th anniversary as geocachers! We have seen a lot of exiting things and places during these years. We have found more than 15000 caches and cached in 26 countries on 4 continents.
To celebrate our anniversary, we have placed a series of 10 caches + a bonus cache. We have chosen sites we would love to search for caches at. As you will soon realize, those are no drive-in-caches and they are not hidden in road signs nor poles. . . . . .
We made a trip to India, Napal and China. Those contries have really low cache densities. Between Delhi in India and Beijing in China there were only two geocaches at the time of our visit (and we found them). It's a distance of 4000 km. At least we got to cache in three new countries and a marvelous experience. In Xian we found GC2A1K4, Terracotta warriors. The picture above shows a few of the famous warriers. In what year were we there ? The last digit in the year = C.
There is a 2 digit code (cc) on the logbook. You will need this code to be able to find the bonus cache !
This cache is hidden in a nature reserve called Verkanäset. This is a breeding site for the Barnacle Goose !
