While out site seeing we decide to place this cache.
Devils Creek is high up on a mountain ridge.
It is surrounded by acres of cedar tree that were burned in the 1999 Rail Road Fire.
Remember what fire can destroy. But look at the beauty of the haunting ghost of trees left from the fire. Also note that the fire missed some of the trees.
On this ridge a full circle of mountains surrounds you.
Look East and you will see the small town of Mammoth,
and the road leading to Eureka between the Eureka peak and the Beacon Mountain.
West you can see Maple Mountain. North and South the view stretches for miles.
This has to be one of the prettiest views in the whole state.
Placed the cachunut # 174 The Spur in this cache.
This cache is in a two-pound candy tin.
