Disbrow Dam, AKA Detroit Metro Wetland Mitigation Dam on the Disbrow Drain River was constructed in 1993 to aid in the flooding of Crosswinds Marsh. As a spillway type drain, it aids in not only controlling the water level of the marsh but also in preventing upstream migration of undesirable fish such as common carp & gizard shad. The spillway dam has a height of 9 feet and maintains a normal surface area of 467 acres.
The Cache: The cache is a small sized lock and lock (unusually) hidden along the Disbrow Drain. Please rehide it well.
