These are a series of caches on an excellent hiking/biking trail outside of Glacier. I had noticed the trails off the Glacier Creek Rd many times in the past but never took the time to walk up them. About two weeks ago I went up and I knew I would be back! I also knew that I wanted to share this trail with others. I have put a few caches along the trail to help you on your way. The entire trail is 4.5 miles at which time you will come out to a forest service road which if you go right will take you back to parking and shave off a few miles. Or you can turn around and take the trail back down taking the junction at N48 53.207 W121 54.471 to make a loop of it.
This cache is on the ridge trail which is a bit off the main trail but only 100 ft or so. If you were to continue on down the ridge trail, you would meet back up with the road you crossed on the way up. But I know you don't want to, you want to continue on up the trail!
To reach this cache, go up the trail from parking. At N48 52.933 W121 55.002 go left. When you come to the road go right, then left at N48 52.898 W121 54.710. Just a few feet up this trail, you will come to a choice...choose left and go on up the hill. The trail to the right (or straight rather) will loop up and join this trail so that is an option if you just want a shorter hike.
After finding the cache go back to the three way split in the trail and go left.
