This cache is located along the Haverstraw to Nyack bike path. The path runs along the Hudson River and offers many views along the way. You will see the remains of quarries and some old park buildings. I believe the nearby ruins were part of the quarrying operation.
Parking for the trail can be found in Haverstraw, at Rockland Lake and in Nyack. Parking in Nyack may involve a seasonal fee. Since the cliffs of the Palisades are so close there was a lot of signal bounce. I averaged the coordinates over 100 times but I’ve still provided a very specific clue to help in your search. The cache is a small lock and lock container and is only accessible during daylight hours.
