The cache is located in the South Klamath Hills, with a great view of the nearby peak of Captain Jack and Mount Shasta in the distance. The trail leads about halfway, then it's cross country with rocky stretches - watch your step! The cache is at 5,046 feet elevation and the trail head parking lot is at 4,117 feet so it's a pretty good climb.
The cache is a 2.7 quart plastic container. It is translucent green with handles that lock the top in place. The original contents are:
